PitchBook and Morningstar Announce Extensive Public Company Data Integration
SEATTLE and NEW YORK and LONDON, Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — PitchBook[1], the premier data provider for the private and public markets, today unveiled several public data enhancements within the PitchBook Platform, consisting of Morningstar, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: MORN) enhanced public fundamentals and equity research reports, as well as consensus estimates. The new public data sets and reports, combined with PitchBook’s best-in-class private market data, offer seamless access to cross-market insights, allowing professionals to better capitalize on opportunities across the private markets by making more informed investment and business decisions.

The data integration comes on the heels of the one-year anniversary of Morningstar’s acquisition of PitchBook[2] in December 2016. This integration is the first in a series of public equity data rollouts within the PitchBook Platform.
